Popular actor Ram Kapoor has finally addressed the much-discussed tension between him and television czarina Ekta Kapoor, following speculations of a rift. The buzz began after Ram made comments about the intimate scenes in their hit show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.
Ram Kapoor Speaks on Ekta Kapoor: “She Believed in Me When No One Else Did”

In a recent interview, Ram Kapoor broke his silence, saying:
"She can say whatever she wants, but I will not utter a word. Because at the end of the day, she gave me what no one else did."
He added:
"She believed in me when no one else did. And for that, I will always be grateful. Till the end of my career, she has every right to say anything about me."
Ram Reacts to Wife Gautami’s Cryptic Post

Ram also addressed the buzz around a cryptic social media post by his wife Gautami Kapoor, where she seemingly took a dig at Ekta’s comments regarding Ram’s weight loss. Ram cleared the air, calling it a light-hearted joke.
"My wife knows exactly where I stand. It was all said in good humour. You should never forget what someone has done for you," he clarified.
How the Controversy Started
The controversy started when Ram mentioned in an earlier interview that Ekta Kapoor had to deal with the backlash of the romantic scenes shown in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Responding sharply, Ekta posted on Instagram:
"Actors giving interviews about my shows should remain professional. Lies and fabricated stories only go so far. Silence has dignity."
She also made a cheeky jab at Ram’s body transformation, posting a video with a reference to the show’s title, saying:
“Hum bade hi ache lagte hain.”
What’s Next for Ram Kapoor? — ‘Mystery’ on Disney+ Hotstar
Ram Kapoor will next be seen in the detective drama series Mystery, premiering 27 June on Disney+ Hotstar. The show is the official Indian adaptation of the award-winning American series Monk.
Directed by Rishabh Seth and produced by Banijay Asia in collaboration with Universal International Studios, the series also stars: Kshitij Date, Shikha Talsania, Mona Singh as fearless ACP Sahamat Siddiqui.
