Ramayana Latest Update: Director Nitesh Tiwari's mythological film Ramayana is one of the most awaited films of Hindi cinema. In fact, according to information received from sources, reportedly, Sunny Deol will play a bigger role in Ramayan Part 2 as the first part will end with the arrival of Hanuman, who vows to help Lord Rama rescue Goddess Sita from Ravana. Sunny Deol will be seen in the first part of the Ramayan film with only about 15 minutes of screen time. However, the second part, which is scheduled to release on Diwali 2027, will have a bigger role for Sunny Deol.
The first glimpse of Ramayana has come out
The much-awaited first look of Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming mythological film Ramayan was released on Thursday, July 3. It stars Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi in the role of Sita. The over three-minute-long clip has spectacular VFX and visuals, showing Ranbir Kapoor as Ram. He is seen shooting arrows with full concentration as Lord Rama, climbing trees, and aiming with determination. Yash is also briefly introduced as Ravana, who is seen in a terrifying avatar. Although only a part of his face is shown, he is seen emerging from a dark place, which is a mark of his character.

The first part of 'Ramayana' will be released in the year 2026
For your information, let us tell you that apart from Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama in 'Ramayana', Sai Pallavi will play the role of Sita, while Yash has confirmed that he will play the role of the powerful Ravana. The film also stars Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Sheeba Chaddha as Manthra, Arun Govil and Indira Krishnan. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the first installment of Ramayana is set for a grand release on Diwali 2026, with the sequel releasing on Diwali 2027.
