Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayana' part 1 and 2 announced

The epic drama film Ramayan directed by Nitesh Tiwari has been a topic of discussion for a long time. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Rama in this film. Everyone is eagerly waiting for it. Now the official announcement of Ramayan has been made. The good news of the announcement of the film Ramayan has been given by the film's producer Namit Malhotra himself.

Namit Malhotra has announced Part 1 and Part 2 of the film Ramayan on his social media handle and also revealed its release date. Sharing the post, the producer wrote, "More than a decade ago, I started a great endeavor to bring this epic to the big screen, which has ruled billions of hearts for more than 5000 years. And today, I am thrilled to see it taking shape beautifully as our teams work tirelessly with a single purpose: 

Ramayan will be released this year

Continuing his point, the producer wrote, "Presenting the most authentic, sacred and amazing adaptation of our history, our truth and our culture - our "Ramayan" to people across the world. Join us as we fulfill our dream of bringing our greatest epic alive with pride and reverence. Part 1 on Diwali 2026 and Part 2 on Diwali 2027 from our entire Ramayan family". Commenting on the post, a fan wrote, "The most awaited magnum opus - so excited!" A comment read, "So excited". An Instagram user commented, "All the best to you @iamnamitmalhotra and your team wishing you guys massive success".

Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Ram

Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. Sai Pallavi has been chosen for the role of Sita, while TV actor Ravi Dubey will be seen playing the role of Laxman while Sunny Deol will be seen in the role of Hanuman. Yash will play the character of Ravana in Ramayana. Indira Krishnan will be seen playing the role of Kaushalya in Ramayana.

Recently, Yash spoke about his role during a conversation with Namit Malhotra. Yash had said, "If the character is treated like a character. If that doesn't happen today, the film won't be made. To make a film with that kind of budget, you need the kind of actors who come together and work for the project. It should be beyond yourself and your stardom. We have to put the project and the vision first".
