Sai Pallavi Turns Vegetarian for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan?

South actress Sai Pallavi is currently in the news for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. The actress will be seen in the role of Sita in Ramayana. At the same time, there were reports a long time ago that the actress has given up non-veg food for Ramayana. However, now Sai Pallavi has dismissed those reports. In fact, on Wednesday, 11 December 2024, Sai Pallavi wrote a long note on X, in which she condemned the news of turning vegetarian to play Sita in Ramayan. She wrote, "Most of the time, almost every time, whenever I see baseless rumours/fabricated lies/false statements being spread without any purpose or motive I prefer to stay silent, but now the time has come for me to react, as it is happening continuously and it seems like it will not stop; especially at the time of my movie releases/announcements/memorable moments of my career! The next time I see any "reputed" page or media/person running some fabricated cheap story in the name of news or gossip, you will hear from me legally! That's it!"

It further claimed that she travels with her team of cooks during her tours, who prepare only vegetarian food for her. For those who don't know, Sai Pallavi has always been a vegetarian. Once in an interview, she had said, "If you eat food, I am always a vegetarian. I cannot see when someone dies. I cannot hurt another person and think that it is okay, they deserve it".

The film stars Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund Varadarajan, alongside Rahul Bose and Bhuvan Arora. The film was a huge box-office success. The actress will next make her Bollywood debut with Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, and Kannada superstar Yash and will be released in two parts, with the first part releasing in 2026.
