An unknown assailant attacked Saif Ali Khan at least six times with a knife. The attacker broke into Saif's Mumbai residence on Thursday during an attempted robbery. Following the attack, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he is undergoing surgery.
Saif Attacked with a Knife
A thief broke into Saif Ali Khan's Bandra residence and attacked the actor with a knife. According to reports, the rest of the family was asleep at the time, and the assailant fled the scene after attacking Saif. It has been reported that Saif is out of danger.
Police Release Statement
The police revealed that Saif suffered two deep wounds, one of which is near his spine. "In a statement, the police said, 'An unknown individual broke into actor Saif Ali Khan's house. A scuffle occurred between Saif and the attacker, during which the actor was injured and is receiving treatment. The investigation is ongoing.' Meanwhile, Mumbai police confirmed that the incident is related to a robbery attempt that took place at 4 a.m. The police are currently searching for the suspect.
At present, teams from the Mumbai Police and the Crime Branch are stationed at Saif Ali Khan's residence in Bandra and are conducting a search using CCTV footage."

Talking about his work front, Saif Ali Khan last impressed fans with his role in Devara: Part 1, which marked his Telugu debut. Directed by Koratala Shiva, the film also starred Janhvi Kapoor and Jr. NTR in the lead roles. Following that, Saif will be seen in Jewel Thief alongside Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is slated for release in 2025.
