Sharing this post, Dilip Kumar wrote, "Some people come into your life forever, becoming a part of you in every possible way. The same happened when Dilip sahab came into my life to stay with me forever. We are one in our thoughts and existence. Days may change, and seasons may pass, but sahab has always been with me, walking hand in hand. Today, on his birthday, I think about what a great gift he is not only for me but for everyone who knows him".
Saira Banu said this about Dilip Kumar
Continuing her point, Saira Banu further said, "To the world, Dilip Sahab was the epitome of manners, poise, poise and a presence that could silence a room. Yet, whenever he was around me, he became something else entirely. He shed the aura of a legend and allowed his inner child to be playful, carefree, and unburdened by worldly chaos. He would laugh effortlessly, tease with the innocence of a boy, and lose himself in the simplest of moments as if the world beyond us did not exist anymore".
"He loved to travel" - Saira Banu
Saira Banu said, "One thing I can say for sure about Sahab is that he could never sit still. He loved to travel. Whenever he got a break from shooting, he would ask us to accompany him to beautiful places. My brother Sultan's children, other family members, and I would often accompany him on these trips, which created some of our best memories".

Saira Banu wrote in her post, "His spontaneity still amazes me. I remember one such moment very well. I went to the airport to see him off, I waved goodbye to him as he was preparing to leave. He turned to me and asked, "Saira, what are you doing?" I replied spontaneously, "My shoot has been canceled, so nothing." What happened next left me amazed that he took me along with him! In those days, flight tickets were booked directly at the counter. Sahab immediately sent his secretary to secure the ticket for me and took me along with him. Now imagine: I was wearing a simple cotton salwar kameez, without clothes and without any preparations. Yet Sahab took me to this grand wedding. I attended the entire ceremony in that simple dress, while Dilip Sahab walked hand in hand with me. His simplicity was his identity, and it was this trait that allowed him to effortlessly surprise me and draw me into his world".
"I leave no stone unturned to make Saheb's birthday special" - Saira
Not just this, Saira Banu said, "Talking about surprises, as careful as I am, I would leave no stone unturned to make his birthday special. I would pick out the finest cashmere sweaters for sahab, pick out beautiful cufflinks, and pick out the finest watches. Yet, to my amusement, he would give them away without hesitation to anyone who liked them. At first, I couldn't understand it. How can a person part with such precious things so easily? But soon, I realized that Dilip Sahab was so content and satisfied within himself that no material possessions could match the treasures of his art, his family, and the love he gave and received".

Along with this, Saira Banu further wrote in the post, it was not just with him, I have seen this in many iconic legends. They seem untouched by material desires, living fully in their existence and their purpose. Dilip Sahab embodied this rare quality, a man so rich in the intangible, so unaffected by worldly possessions. He lived in a world of his own making, where every action and every word had meaning and purpose. As far as I am concerned, I had the good fortune of seeing the man behind this legend. The world may worship him as Kohinoor, but for me, he was simply a man who made the ordinary extraordinary. Happy birthday, Yusuf Jaan".
