Saiyaara Promotion Update: Mohit Suri Reveals Why Ahaan & Aneet Skipped It

Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday's film 'Saiyaara' has been released in theaters on 18 July 2025. The film is getting a lot of love from the audience. Before the release of the film 'Saiyaara', Ahan Pandey and Aneet Padda did not promote Saiyaara. Meanwhile, now 'Saiyaara' director Mohit Suri has revealed the reason for not promoting the film.

In fact, Mohit Suri explained the reason for not promoting Saiyaaraa in his latest interview. He said, "It was an idea that came to our collective mind. Akshay Vidhani and Aditya Chopra, sir, who guided us in this work, have understood that unless they [both the lead characters] have something to talk about, the conversation people will have will be, 'Who is the mischief maker on the set?' 'How was it working with Mohit Suri?' These are redundant answers, and I don't think anyone cares about these things. But if you have a collection of work that comes from outside, then..."

Mohit Suri shares memories of Aashiqui 2 

Along with this, Mohit Suri also shared an anecdote from the time of the release of Aashiqui 2. The producer said, "I remember when I was doing Aashiqui 2. When we were shooting in Goa, people were recognizing me, but not Shraddha and Aditya at that time. We were going for promotions and catching a return flight from Chandigarh. The first show had just started, we were in the air, and there was no network. By the time we landed, the show was over, and people came to know that this is a really good film. I have a picture in which the air hostess staff were surrounding them. They were not being recognized for how they looked or how we pushed them, but for how they looked and how they felt connected".
