According to police sources, Zeeshan Siddiqui's office in Bandra received threatening messages on Friday, targeting both him and Salman Khan and demanding ransom. Following this, an employee of Siddiqui's office filed a complaint with the police, following which an FIR was registered. Investigation soon identified Mohammed Tayyab as the person responsible for the threats, resulting in his arrest. Earlier, the Mumbai Police had detained Shaikh Hussain Shaikh Mousin, 24, a vegetable vendor from Jamshedpur, in connection with a separate threatening message sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police's WhatsApp helpline.
