Let us tell you that Viacom18 Studios shared this news on their Instagram handle. Sharing this post, they wrote, "Watch the epic again on the big screen. Padmaavat in theaters on January 24". 'Padmaavat' is an Indian historical film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and produced by Bhansali Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. The film was initially scheduled to be released in theaters on 1 December 2017; but after protests from some people and legal proceedings in the Supreme Court, it was released on 25 January 2018.

 The film 'Padmaavat' is based on the life of Queen Padmavati of the Chittor state. This historical drama brings to life the epic saga of when Alauddin Khilji, a tyrannical and eccentric ruler wanted to conquer India's most powerful kingdom, Chittor, and its queen. To defeat him and save their honor, the Rajput women commit Jauhar (mass self-immolation) along with Padmavati, thereby foiling Alauddin's quest and enraging him.
