Shah Rukh Khan Injured at King Sets: Shoot to Resume Two Months After Accident

Siddharth Anand and Shah Rukh Khan's 'King' is one of the most awaited films. The film has been attracting the attention of the audience since its announcement. Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting for the film. Meanwhile, now the news is coming that Shah Rukh Khan got injured during the shooting of King, due to which the makers have stopped the shooting of the film. 

Shah Rukh Khan injured while shooting action scenes

Actually, according to media reports, Shah Rukh Khan, who was shooting some action scenes at Golden Tobacco Studio in Mumbai, met with an accident, due to which he got injured. The source further said, "The full details of the injury have been kept secret, but Shah Rukh has gone to America with his team for immediate treatment. This is not a serious matter, but a muscle injury, because Shah Rukh has been injuring many muscles of his body while doing stunts in the last few years".

The shooting of the film will begin after two months

The source further said that after the surgery, Shah Rukh has been advised to take a month's break from work. Meanwhile, the report states that the next schedule of King will now start in September or October as Shah Rukh has been advised to take time off to recover. After fully recovering from the injury, he will again perform on the set with full force. According to the report, bookings for shooting various parts of King at Film City, Golden Tobacco and YRF from July to August have been canceled till further notice. King is to be shot in India and Europe.

King will be released on Gandhi Jayanti

King, slated to release in 2026, stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role as a formidable assassin who is deeply involved in the criminal underworld. The film King features a star cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, and Abhay Verma. Suhana will be seen as Shah Rukh's student who is training for deadly missions. Reportedly, both Shah Rukh and Suhana have undergone intense physical training for the film. Anil Kapoor has come on board to play Shah Rukh Khan's handler and mentor in the film. Anil's character will take him into the world of espionage and high-stakes action. The makers have decided to release the film King on Gandhi Jayanti next year i.e. October 2, 2026.
