Shalini Pandey was nervous about the rape scene in Maharaj
Actually, during an interview, Shalini Pandey said that when she filmed this scene, she was very restless. She said, "When I did the 'charan seva' scene with Maharaj. Until I did it in reality, I did not realize what effect it had on me because I did that scene and suddenly I went out and I told my team that I did not want to stay in a closed room, I needed time, I need some fresh air, I am feeling a little nervous." Shalini Pandey said that her director Siddharth P Malhotra and Jaideep Ahlawat, who were her co-actors in this scene, 'clearly understood' how she was feeling.

While talking about her character, Shalini Pandey said, "Playing a teenager who is so naive. Initially, when I read it, I thought she was stupid, but then I realized she is not stupid, she just does not know any better. She was taught so much that she was sure of everything she was doing. When you feel and do and think about it, it shatters you. Then you realize she is not stupid. I hope she knew this was happening to her".
