Shanawas Death: Veteran Malayalam Actor Passes Away at the Age of 71

Shanvas was ill for many years

Actually, according to media reports, actor Shanvas died late Monday night at around 11:50 pm in a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. He was undergoing treatment for heart and kidney disease for the last four years. Shanvas lived in Cordon Trinity in Vazhuthacaud. He was taken to the hospital when his condition deteriorated on Monday night. His funeral will be held today, August 5, at the Palayam Muslim Jamaat cemetery.

Shanvas career

Talking about his career, Shanvas has worked in more than 50 films in his career. He started his career in 1981 with the romantic film Prema Geetangal directed by Balachandra Menon. His major films include Mazhanilal, Eyugam, Maniara, Nilgiri, Garbhashriman, and Zachariayude Garbhinikal. He has also acted in serials like Shankhmugham, Veluthu Katrina, Kadamttu Kathanar, and Satyameva Jayate.
