Sharvari was about to debut in Bollywood with Bhansali, said- 'We did a workshop...'

Sharvari made her acting debut in 2020 with Kabir Khan's web series The Forgotten Army: Azaadi Ke Liye, in which she was accompanied by Sunny Kaushal. The actress also assisted Luv Ranjan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Bajirao Mastani. Not only this, Sharvari has also been vocal about auditioning for big films like Thugs of Hindostan and Sui Dhaaga, but ultimately she did not get success. Meanwhile, Sharvari talked about her Bollywood debut.

Sharvari had auditioned for this film 

In fact, Sharvari Wagh revealed in her recent interview that she became an assistant director on the Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Deepika Padukone starrer when she went to audition for a film produced by the filmmaker. "I had auditioned for it and was even shortlisted. However, things didn't go as planned and the project was shelved. We did a few workshops and then that film took a little break due to some technical reasons. They had to figure something out and rework the script. In the meantime, I asked them if I could assist them. At that time, Bajirao Mastani was also on the floors and I requested if I could intern in that. They agreed and were very happy to give me that job," the actress said.

Aditya Chopra is Sharvari's mentor 

Sharvari said that along with Bhansali, another filmmaker she respects a lot is Aditya Chopra, who is also a mentor to her. She said, "If I ever have any doubts or need any kind of guidance, I always approach him. But you have to make most of the decisions yourself. He is also someone who thinks that people should make decisions for themselves. But he is very appreciative of everyone's hard work. For example, he liked Maharaj and everyone's performance in it, including mine. It was really nice to know that you did what was expected of you. Adi sir was the producer of Maharaj and so, it was gratifying to live up to his expectations. And this applies to every film. With Munjya too, we felt great because Dinesh Vijan the producer was very happy with the film. Also, it did so well unexpectedly".

Sharvari will be seen in YRF spy film Alpha

Talking about the work front, Sharvari will be seen in the film Alpha in the coming time. Alia Bhatt will also be seen in the lead role along with the actress in this film. The film Alpha is being directed by Shiv Rawail and stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the role of super-agents along with Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor. This is the first action film starring two women in the YRF spy universe. Interestingly, it is one of the female-dominated action thrillers of the Hindi film industry.
