Shri Shri Ravi Shankar Biopic: Vikrant Massey Visits Ashram, Preps Intensely for Role

Bollywood's talented actor Vikrant Massey ( Vikrant Massey news ) is playing interesting characters one after the other these days. Now Vikrant is in the news for his next big film 'White'. This film is based on the life of spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (Shri Sri Ravi Shankar) and his peace efforts.

90% shooting will happen in Colombia

The special thing about the film 'White' is that almost 90 percent of its shooting will be done in the South American country of Colombia. According to sources associated with the film, it is not just a biopic but focuses on the role played by Sri Sri Ravishankar in ending the 52-year-old conflict in Colombia. That is why the producers want to shoot most of the part there to maintain that historical authenticity.

Vikrant Massey's preparation

It is not easy to bring alive a big and influential personality like Sri Sri Ravishankar on screen. But Vikrant Massey has made tremendous preparations for this. He recently visited the 'Art of Living' Ashram in Bangalore, where he also attended the 'Happiness Program' started by Sri Sri. During this, he was seen trying to feel the energy and ideology of Sri Sri through meditation, pranayama, and sadhna. His wife Sheetal Thakur, son Vardan, and the film's producer Mahavir Jain were also present with him in this visit.

Also made physical changes

Vikrant has also changed his look for this role. He has grown his hair and beard so that he can look like Sri Sri Ravishankar. Along with this, he is also deeply imbibing Sri Sri's way of speaking, smiling, gestures, sitting, and walking style. For this, he is constantly watching Sri Sri's videos, speeches and interviews. Currently, after the promotions of his last film and family time, Vikrant Massey will leave for Colombia in August 2025, where the shooting of 'White' will begin.

Bollywood and Colombia: A new chapter

This is not the first time that Colombia and Bollywood have been associated. In 2012, the late actor Irrfan Khan's film 'The Lunchbox' premiered in Colombia's capital, Bogota. In 2022, Colombia's ambassador Maria Carmensa Jaramillo Montes expressed her wish that one day Bollywood films be shot in her country. Now, Vikrant Massey's film 'White' is turning that dream into reality.
