Shrimad Ramayan Actor Veer Sharma Dies After Tragic Fire Accident

Veer Sharma: Eight-year-old television actor Veer Sharma, who played Pushkal in Sony SAB's Shrimad Ramayan, and his 16-year-old brother Shaurya Sharma died in a fire at their home in Kota, Rajasthan. The incident has come as a huge shock to their family and fans.

Police said the two children were alone in their fourth-floor flat in Deepshree Building, located in the Anantapura police station area, when the fire broke out around 2 a.m. Sunday. The children were sleeping at the time of the fire and died from suffocation due to the thick smoke. Neighbors saw smoke coming from the house and rushed to help. They broke down the door and rushed the children to the hospital. However, they were declared dead upon arrival.

The children's father was not present at home at the time of the incident.

Their father, Jitendra Sharma, a teacher at a coaching center, was away at a bhajan program, while their mother, actress Rita Sharma, was in Mumbai. Kota City Superintendent of Police, Tejeshwari Gautam, said a short circuit is suspected to have caused the fire, which was confined to the drawing room. It is believed the sleeping children died from smoke inhalation rather than burns. An FIR has been registered under Section 194 of the BNSS Act. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the fire and the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
