Monali suddenly came down from the stage in Varanasi
Earlier this month, Monali Thakur had issued a statement in which she talked about walking off the stage midway through her concert in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on December 22. The incident happened when Monali Thakur walked off the stage after performing for about 45 minutes. In the video that went viral on the internet, Monali was seen addressing the audience and saying, "I am disappointed that my team and I were so excited to perform here. Let's not talk about the infrastructure and its condition, because it is the responsibility of the management. I cannot tell what they have done on stage to steal money."
Monali Thakur had presented clarification
Not only this, the singer shared information on her Instagram account about the alleged mismanagement and mistreatment of her and her team by the event organizers. Monali wrote, "I hoped that I would not end 2024 or start the new year 2025 by addressing the horrific and negative incident that happened to my team and me in Varanasi. However, after much thought, I feel it is important to share these unfortunate truths - not only to raise awareness but also to improve the way such cases are handled. A confession and apology letter issued by the founder of the event-organizing company is attached. Hopefully, this letter is enough to clear up any confusion about the credibility of any false defamatory allegations made against my team and me, as well as the treacherous and unethical conduct of the organizers."
