Raju Srivastava told during a conversation with Mayapuri that "The name of his school was Satya Prakash Srivastava. I did not keep the name Raju to enter films or comedy, rather Raju is my pet name to which I added my surname Srivastava and I think it will be easy for people to take the name Raju".
How was the experience with the fans?

Responding to this, Raju said, "I did not want to do this show earlier because at that time my cassettes and laughter shows were very popular in the market. At that time no one knew about that show 'Great Indian Laughter Challenge'. How could I go to a show about which no one knew anything?" Not only this, Raju said that I was not known for this show because at that time Star One was being launched with that show and there were new artists in it. PM Modi had nominated him for Clean India
Responding to this question, Raju Srivastava thanked PM Modi for nominating him for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. He then told how UP CM Yogi Adityanath made him the chairman of the Film Development Council. Raju Srivastava told that the CM made him the chairman so that he could contribute to the film city being built in UP.
