Sonakshi Sinha Breaks Silence on Marriage with Zaheer Iqbal

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had a civil marriage at their home in Mumbai on June 23. The couple then hosted a grand party for their family and close friends the same evening. Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha spoke about her special day for the first time in her latest interview.

She said, "It was always our plan to have a private wedding. Both of us always wanted such a wedding. Zaheer and I were very clear that our wedding should reflect both of us as human beings, the bond between us, and our love for each other".

The couple had to face a lot of criticism for marrying in another religion.

Talking about Sonakshi Sinha's work front, the actress is in the news these days for her film 'Kakuda'. Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem have also appeared in the lead roles along with her in this film. This film has been streamed on the OTT platform ZEE5 today i.e. on 12th July.
