Sonu Nigam apologises Post: Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam is currently on the target of Kannada Film Industry. For this, not only an FIR was lodged against Sonu, but the Kannada industry has also announced to boycott him. At the same time, Sonu Nigam has apologized to the people of Karnataka for his alleged derogatory remarks about the Kannada community at a recent event held in Bengaluru (Bengaluru Concert Row). On Tuesday, Sonu wrote a brief note on Instagram saying that his love for Karnataka is "bigger" than his ego.

Sony Nigam shared a note on Instagram and wrote, "Sorry Karnataka. My love for you is bigger than my ego. Love you always". Fans are expressing their reaction on this post of the singer. Reacting to the post, a fan said, "Karnataka, you have done a lot of wrong to this person. He loves and respects Kannada people so much that he apologized many times and clarified the situation, but no one from Karnataka said a single word against those 4-5 people." Another fan wrote, "Sonu sir, there is a huge lack of respect for those who are still against him. In fact, this is a loss for the Karnataka industry".

Let us tell you that Sonu Nigam shared an open letter on Instagram and wrote, I have given unprecedented love to the language, culture, music, musicians, state and people, not only in Karnataka but anywhere in the world. In fact I have given more respect to my Kannada songs than songs in other languages including Hindi. Hundreds of videos are circulating on social media as proof of this. I have more than hours of Kannada songs which I prepare for every concert I do in Karnataka. However, I am not a young man who will tolerate insult from anyone. I am 51 years old.
Sonu Nigam gave this controversial statement
Recently, Bengaluru police issued a notice to Sonu to appear for investigation within a week after an FIR was registered by Avalahalli police station of Bengaluru rural district. Sonu Nigam said at a music event held in Bengaluru, "I did not like that there was a boy who was not even his age before I was singing Kannada songs. He was threatening me so badly, 'Kannada, Kannada'. This is the reason for what happened in Pahalgam, right? This is the reason for what you are doing, what you did just now? Look who is standing in front. I love Kannada people, I love you guys". This statement of the singer gave rise to controversy on social media.
