Famous playback singer Asha Bhosle's biography Swaraswamini Asha was launched on Friday, June 28. Many dignitaries including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar, Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Sonu Nigam, Asha Bhosle's granddaughter Janai Bhosle and many other celebrities attended the event. On this occasion, singer Sonu Nigam washed Asha Bhosle's feet, the video of which is going viral on social media.

Let us tell you that in a video shared on Twitter by news agency ANI, Sonu Nigam was seen sitting near Asha Bhosle's feet and washing her feet. After this, Sonu Nigam also wiped Asha Bhosle's feet. Before leaving the stage, Sonu Nigam folded his hands looking at Asha Bhosle, and also greeted her. Reacting to this video, a fan said, "This is beautiful. Absolutely Indian. There are things that make us feel proud to be Indian." A person commented, "Heart touching. Proud of you, Sonu Nigam. Really great".

Sonu Nigam said this about Asha Bhosle

Sonu Nigam addressed on the occasion of the book release. He said, 'Devi Maa Pranam, I did not want to say anything. But, when I have been asked, I will say that today there are many means of learning. But, when there was nothing to learn, there was Lata ji and Asha ji. They have taught singing to the whole world. Thanks to those who could learn from you. Thanks to those who are learning. Thanks to those who learned from you and realized that they cannot learn like you. I want to bow to you on behalf of Sanatan Dharma.'

Asha Bhosle remembered her sister Lata Mangeshkar

Asha Bhosle's biography includes contributions from 90 authors and provides a delightful experience for her fans. It includes rare photographs that show the singer's artistic journey and evolution. On the occasion, Asha Bhosle recalled her relationship with VD Savarkar and was joined by her brother, music director Hridaynath Mangeshkar. She also spoke about the deep impact various music directors had on her singing. It is worth mentioning that Asha Bhosle's elder sister and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away in February 2022 at the age of 92.
