Met Gala 2025 is being held today, May 6, 2025 in New York City. This year's theme is based on Monica L. Miller's 2009 published book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. This year's Met Gala is even more special because this time the King of Romance Shah Rukh Khan and Diljit Dosanjh made a great debut at the Met Gala. Shah Rukh Khan created history at the Met Gala
Shah Rukh Khan has officially made history at the Met Gala 2025. He became the first Indian male actor to make his presence felt on the prestigious red carpet of the Met Gala this year. Shah Rukh Khan made a grand entry at the Met Gala wearing a black suit and golden jewellery designed by Sabyasachi, which was based on the theme Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. Shah Rukh completed his look with a stylish black suit, two necklaces with the letters 'SRK' and 'K', four rings, a stylish watch and a stick with golden detailing.
Shahrukh Khan shared his thoughts about his look
Talking to a reporter about his look and his thoughts about the Met Gala, Shah Rukh Khan said, "My designer, Sabyasachi, thought of it, and thought of it as an expression of freedom and trying to be firm and resilient against things that can suppress you." The reporter asked him, "Have you ever heard of it or did you already have the idea and you never tested it?" Shah Rukh admitted, "Honestly, no, but I got to know now. So in the last 20 days, I understood what it was. And being an actor, I thought it was very interesting that resolve to change things without any resentment or anger, but with the zeal of art in it. So, yes, it was amazing."
Priyanka Chopra walked the red carpet with husband Nick Jonas
Priyanka Chopra Jonas walked the carpet at the Met Gala 2025 with her husband Nick Jonas. This was her fifth appearance at the prestigious fashion event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Priyanka looked classic Hollywood style in a polka dot suit dress designed by Olivier Rousteing for Balmain. Nick Jonas also looked stylish in a tailored suit matching Priyanka's look.

Kiara Advani made a stunning debut at the Met Gala 2025 in a bold black and gold gown by Gaurav Gupta. Her beautiful dress, which featured two golden hearts connected by a chain, symbolised motherhood and featured sparkling crystals and tiny ghungroos. Diljit Dosanjh made a grand entry at the Met Gala 2025 and showcased his Punjabi culture to the world in full glory. In the 'Maharaja Look' created by famous designer Prabal Gurung, Diljit was seen in an off-white Achkan, pyjama and turban. It had a map of Punjab, special symbols and words written in Gurumukhi. Stylist Abhilasha Devnani completed his look with several necklaces, turban jewellery and a sword.
This time Isha Ambani wore a look based on the theme "Tailored for You" at the Met Gala. Isha looks like a princess in this look. This dress has been designed by Anamika Khanna. Isha wore a halter style top with black bellbottom pants at the Met Gala. She completed her look with a long shrug jacket which is giving a very stunning look.

Indian fashion queen Natasha Poonawala attended the Met Gala wearing a weird dress. At the 2025 Met Gala, Natasha Poonawala wowed attendees with a custom outfit designed by Manish Malhotra. Parsi Gara embroidery prominently featured in her outfit. The highlight of her outfit was a fishtail skirt, which was carefully crafted from two vintage Gara saris. The skirt featured hand-embroidered motifs and was complemented by a corset-waistband paired with a vintage French lace bralette, the edges of which were adorned with scalloped beads.
