SRK Threw My Photo on the Floor, I Cried – Why Did He Do This to Rajeev Thakur?

Comedian and actor Rajeev Thakur is once again all set to appear in the third season of 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'. Rajeev Thakur has been successful in tickling the audience with his comedy. Recently, in an interview, Rajeev Thakur told what happened after Shah Rukh Khan pranked him and Chandan Prabhakar on The Kapil Sharma Show.

When Shahrukh Khan pranked Rajiv Thakur 

Let us tell you that Shah Rukh Khan came to Kapil Sharma Show for the promotion of his film Happy New Year, when he did a prank with Kapil's friends and co-stars Rajiv Thakur and Chandan Prabhakar. In his recent interview, Rajiv Thakur recalled that, "People often say that never meet your idol, because the moment you meet them, they are no longer your idol. But in Shahrukh's case, the logic works in reverse. When he pranked us, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. How can such a big star do this to us?" 

Rajiv Thakur said this about Shahrukh

Rajiv Thakur further shared that “I really like his eyebrows, it adds depth to his eyes. I was skeptical the whole time, because Kapil was trying to find a window for Shah Rukh. He said, 'Rajiv is a big fan of yours, he mimics very well'. Now, he thought that Shah Rukh Khan might do his prank after this, but I did it very well and the entire audience gave me a standing ovation. This made it difficult for Kapil and Shah Rukh sir to carry on with their prank.”

Rajiv Thakur further said, "When Kapil saw that the prank could not be successful, he forced Chandan to imitate something. This gave Shah Rukh a chance to shout at us and that's how he found a way to start the prank. He built up the tension slowly, but things escalated. When he threw a photo of himself and me on the floor, I got scared. I started thinking, 'Yaar, I am meeting him for the first time'. I can't accept that my idol can be like this. My eyes got wet. But his acting was so good that I thought, 'Have I really hurt him'? I was feeling very bad. But then he came from behind and hugged us, I was like..."

Shahrukh Khan gave a note to Rajiv

Along with this, Rajeev told that after the episode was over, Shahrukh taught him how to imitate his character. He also remembered the gestures made by Shahrukh after the incident. He told, "When I went to my vanity van, someone from his team came to me and gave me something and said, 'Shahrukh sir has sent this for you'. He had got the photo that he had thrown framed. He had also left a note on it. I don't remember when he picked it up from the stage. He won my heart".

Shahrukh Khan will be seen in King

Talking about the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for Siddharth Anand's King. Shah Rukh Khan's King will also star Suhana Khan in the lead role. Munjya star Abhay Verma and Abhishek Bachchan will also play important roles in the film. Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in the role of villain in King. This film may release next year in 2026. Shah Rukh Khan's list of upcoming films also includes the much-awaited Tiger vs Pathan with Salman Khan.
