Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit to Start Shooting for Border 2

The sequel of JP Dutta's film Border is a topic of much discussion at this time. The film stars Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan in lead roles. Meanwhile, the latest information related to the shooting of Border 2 is coming out that the film will be shot in North India.

The shooting of the film will begin this month

In fact, according to the latest reports, the pre-production work for Border 2 has been going on for almost a year and the team is finally gearing up to bring the film on the floors on November 25. Director Anurag Singh along with his team is set to begin recce for the film within a week. The makers have decided to shoot in locations including Jammu and Srinagar. The team plans to shoot a lot of scenes in real locations of the Special Armed Forces and areas along India's borders to give the film a realistic feel.

The film will be shot over a period of 6 months

The reports further said, "Our idea is to make a high-octane but authentic war film. Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta along with director Anurag Singh are leaving no stone unturned to bring a film that will make the cinema-going audience proud and celebrate the legacy of part one. The film will be shot over a period of 6 months from November to May and is set to release on Republic Day 2026. Huge planning is being done in logistics to produce such an action-heavy and cult franchise in a professional manner, which will happen as per the planned timeline".

Border 2 will release in January 2026

Border 2 is directed by Anurag Singh and backed by Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The film, which is scheduled to release in January 2026, stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles. Border 2 is a sequel to JP Dutta's 1997 film Border, which starred Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna, Pooja Bhatt and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
