Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Asit Modi Breaks Silence on Dilip Joshi Exit

TV's popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah remains in constant discussion. Now, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumar Modi has recently broken his silence on the rumors of Dilip Joshi leaving the show. He said that whenever any news related to the show comes, it attracts people's attention. Asit Modi said that Dilip Joshi did not appear in the show for some time due to his personal engagements, but this does not mean that he has left the show. 

Asit Modi said this on negative news

In fact, Asit Modi said during his recent conversation that, "Whenever any news comes about TMKOC, it attracts a lot of attention. Many times, sensitive or misleading things are also written about the show. But to be honest, I do not care much about it. If I start responding to every rumor, then it will never stop.

"I don't pay attention to these rumours"- Asit Modi

Continuing his talk, Asit Modi said, "Recently, Jethalal (Dilip Joshi ji) was not seen in the show for some time due to his personal work. But this does not mean that he has left the show. It is not always possible for the story to revolve around a single character. People start assuming anything, but I keep my focus on the story and do not pay attention to these rumors."

Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta were missing from the show

Let us tell you that the rumors of Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta leaving TMKOC were in the headlines last month. It all started when fans noticed that Jethalal and Babita ji were missing from the plot of 'Bhootni' for a long time. All the members of the Gokuldham Society were vacationing in a haunted bungalow. Bapuji, Popatlal, Sodhi and other characters joined Tarak Mehta and Anjali on this vacation, but Jethalal and Babita ji were missing. This made everyone wonder if Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta are planning to leave the show.

Earlier too, Asit Modi had issued a statement clarifying that Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta are still a part of his popular sitcom. The producer had said, "As you know, nowadays social media has become so negative that you should try to think positively and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a completely positive show. It is a family show that spreads happiness. So some people should think positively about it. It is not right to spread rumors on small things or say anything inappropriate. It is not a good thing, but nothing, everyone is a part of our team. Some were not there at that time due to their personal reasons. So there is no such thing".

Many stars have said goodbye to the show

Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a television serial that has been airing since July 28, 2008. So far, many actors have left the show, including Disha Vakani (Daya Jethalal Gada), Bhavya Gandhi and Raj Anadkat (Tapu), Shailesh Lodha (Tarak Mehta), Neha Mehta (Anjali Tarak Mehta), Kush Shah, Gurcharan Singh and Jennifer Mistry, and many others.
