Tamannaah Bhatia remains in the headlines every day. Recently, there were reports that the actress will be summoned by the Puducherry Police in the cryptocurrency fraud case of Rs 2.4 crore. Now the actress has broken her silence on this matter.

In fact, Tamannaah Bhatia broke her silence on the matter in an interview and said, "I have come to know that rumors are being spread accusing me of being involved and associated with cryptocurrency. I would like to request my friends in the media not to spread any such fake, misleading and false reports and rumors".

Addressing the rumours and reports, Tamannaah Bhatia said that her team is exploring legal remedies in the matter. "In the meantime, my team is looking into the matter to initiate appropriate action," her statement continued. 

What is cryptocurrency scam? (Cryptocurrency Fraud)

On Friday, several reports claimed that Tamannaah and fellow actress Kajal Aggarwal may be summoned by the Puducherry police for questioning in a case related to an alleged cryptocurrency scheme. Ashokan, a resident of Puducherry, lodged a complaint with the local police that a Coimbatore-based company had defrauded him and his 10 friends of Rs 2.4 crore on the pretext of investing money in a cryptocurrency scheme. The complainant further alleged that actress Tamannaah had attended the company's launch event in 2022 and Kajal also attended a similar event held in Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra. It is being told that Tamannaah Bhatia has released her statement, but no official statement has come from Kajal yet. At the same time, the police has also not issued any statement on the alleged interrogation of the two actors.

Tamannaah Bhatia was seen in the role of 'Sadhvi' 

Tamannaah Bhatia was last seen in the Netflix film Sikandar Ka Muqaddar alongside Avinash Tiwari and Jimmy Shergill. Currently, she is working in the horror thriller Odela 2. In this film, she is playing the role of a sadhvi. 'Odela 2' also stars Vasishta N Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surendra Reddy, Bhupal and Pooja Reddy in important roles. The release date of the film has not been announced yet, the teaser just indicates its release soon. The shooting of the film started in Kashi last year and it is produced by D Madhu and Sampath under Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks. Currently, the makers have not shared the release date of the film (About Odela 2).
