Actually, according to media reports, director Vikram Sukumaran was travelling by bus from Madurai to Chennai after narrating the script to a producer. Vikram Sukumaran was going from Madurai to Chennai. During his journey, he suffered severe chest pain. Due to this, he was taken to a local hospital, but despite many efforts, the doctors could not save him. Vikram Sukumaran's family includes his wife and children who live in Chennai.
Shanthanu Bhagyaraj expressed condolences
The entire Tamil film industry and his fans are in shock after hearing the news of Vikram Sugumaran's death. Actor Shanthanu Bhagyaraj mourned the demise of the filmmaker on his ex handle. He shared photos with the late filmmaker from the sets of the film. Shanthanu wrote, "#RIP dear brother @VikramSugumara3. I have learned a lot from you and will always cherish every moment. Gone too soon. You will be missed."

While music composer Justin Prabhakaran said, "A filmmaker who dreamed beyond the frame, but left us too early. He left with countless untold stories. May your soul rest in peace Vikram Sugumaran sir".
Career of Vikram Suguraman
Let us tell you, Vikram Suguraman's last directorial film was Shanthanu Bhagyaraj's Ravana Kottam. He was working on a new project called Theeram Porom, but his demise may affect the project. He started his career as an assistant director to the famous Tamil director Balu Mahendra in 1999-2000. Later, he directed a film called 'Madha Yaani Kootam', an acclaimed rural drama.
