The 25th edition of the IIFA Awards is set to take place in Jaipur, and a press conference was held in Mumbai to mark the occasion. Bollywood's King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and the charming actor, often referred to as 'Ruh Baba,' Kartik Aaryan, were present at the event. Alongside them, actress and dancer Nora Fatehi, along with Rajasthan's royal princess and Deputy Chief Minister, Diya Kumari, also attended the press conference. One of the highlights of this event was that the theme was set around Rajasthan.
During the event, Princess Diya Kumari welcomed Shah Rukh Khan and Kartik Aaryan with two gift boxes containing plates showcasing Rajasthan’s 400-year-old famous Thewa art.
What They Wore
At the IIFA press conference, Bollywood's King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, stole the show with his natural charm. He looked incredibly attractive in an all-black outfit. Shah Rukh wore a crisp black shirt paired with black trousers and completed his look with a black blazer.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan, the star of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, also showcased his style. He looked dashing in a white crisp shirt, blue tie, blue blazer, and matching trousers.
Nora Fatehi grabbed the spotlight too. She looked stylish in a black top paired with a brown blazer and a short skirt. Her soft curls and black stockings, along with black heels, added to her glamorous look.
At the Mumbai press conference, Diya Kumari, the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, looked stunning in a Rajasthani-style pink saree.

During the event, Shah Rukh Khan shared his memories with IIFA, saying, "The journey with IIFA is one of my most beautiful memories. From the first ceremony at London’s Millennium Dome to the unforgettable 25-year journey, it represents the global recognition of Indian cinema. IIFA is not just an event, it's a legacy that takes the power of storytelling, culture, and art beyond borders."
He added, "Being a part of this historic milestone of IIFA gives me immense pride and happiness. Celebrating this magical journey in Jaipur, amidst the colorful and rich traditions of Rajasthan, will be unforgettable. Kartik Aaryan on Hosting IIFA
2025 marks Kartik Aaryan’s first time hosting the IIFA Awards. Talking about his excitement, Kartik said, "It’s something I’ve been eagerly waiting for—to host the world’s largest Indian cinema celebration. It’s the perfect way to start 2025!"
Deputy CM Diya Kumari’s Statement
Diya Kumari expressed her delight, saying, "It is a moment of pride for us that the silver jubilee of IIFA Awards is being celebrated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Many films are shot here, and this will be a grand event that will boost tourism. This event aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for tourism, and it will give Rajasthan a new identity. It’s a great opportunity for both tourism and the film industry. It will create an atmosphere conducive to film shoots here."
Nora Fatehi’s Excitement
Nora Fatehi shared her excitement, saying, "I am super excited for the IIFA Awards 2025, and the fact that it's being held in Jaipur makes it even more special. I’m thrilled to perform at IIFA for the fourth time this year. I can’t wait to showcase my dance performance!"
Shah Rukh Khan Teaches Kartik Aaryan Some Rajasthani
During the press conference, Shah Rukh Khan taught Kartik Aaryan a little bit of Rajasthani in his signature playful manner. He said, "Since Kartik is hosting the 25th IIFA Awards this year, let me teach him how to begin. First, you need to say, ‘Padharo Mhare IIFA!’" After repeating this line, Shah Rukh continued to teach Kartik another phrase in Rajasthani: "Padharo Mhare Desh Rajasthan." Both actors then greeted the audience by folding their hands and saying, "Khammaghani," bowing respectfully.
At the end of the event, Sabas Arda Viraf, Kartik Aaryan, and Nora Fatehi participated in an environmentally conscious gesture by watering a plant. Sabas emphasized the importance of environmental responsibility and urged everyone to be more conscious of our planet.
The IIFA Awards 2025 will be held in Jaipur, also known as the Pink City, from March 8-9. This year’s edition will celebrate IIFA’s Silver Jubilee with the theme, "Silver is the New Gold," symbolizing tradition, achievement, and excellence.
