Bollywood actor Boman Irani is currently in the news for his film 'The Mehta Boys'. The actor is entering the world of direction with this film. Now the trailer of the film 'The Mehta Boys' has also been released which is based on the complicated relationship between a father and a son.

The trailer depicts the ups and downs of the father-son relationship

Let us tell you that the trailer of the film 'The Mehta Boys' begins with the characters of Avinash Tiwari and Boman Irani. This is a father-son duo who hardly talk to each other. The circumstances are such that the father has to spend 48 hours with his son at his home. From getting into the elevator to keeping the lights off, there are frequent clashes between the two. There is irritation as well as unspoken love. Their ups and downs begin with arguing over who will sleep on the bed and who on the sofa and then the father applies the speed brake to prevent his son from driving the car on a rainy day. When a distraught son asks his girlfriend, "Is he a man or a child," she factually replies, "He is your father, you are a child". The trailer ends with Boman's character hesitantly shaking hands with his son at the airport.

Boman Irani spoke about 'The Mehta Boys'

Talking about the film 'The Mehta Boys', Boman Irani said, "For me, The Mehta Boys is an extremely personal journey. The relationship between a father and a son is one of the most complex and emotionally charged dynamics. With this film, I wanted to show how the bond between two people who care deeply for each other can be tested by time, misunderstandings and unresolved issues. This is a story that has stayed with me over the years, and I am thrilled to share it with audiences in India and around the world on Prime Video. I am very grateful to the talented cast for bringing their characters to life with such depth and authenticity and enriching the story in every way".

Avinash Tiwari spoke on working with Boman Irani

Avinash Tiwari, who plays Boman Irani's son Amay in the film 'The Mehta Boys', said, "Amay's character is full of complexities, caught between family loyalty and personal resentment. Certain circumstances force him into an intense and transformative encounter with his father, which changes his perspective in a way he never expected. Portraying this journey was both challenging and rewarding. I am proud to be a part of a film that depicts relevant topics like family relationships and reconciliation".

'The Mehta Boys' will release on February 7 

The film 'The Mehta Boys' stars Boman Irani and Avinash Tiwari along with Shreya Chaudhary and Pooja Sarup in lead roles. The Mehta Boys is produced by Irani, Danish Irani, Vikas Bhutani and Shujaat Saudagar under the banner of Irani Movietone LLP in association with Chalkboard Entertainment LLP. The film 'The Mehta Boys' will be released on Prime Video India on February 7.
