Tired of her life, Shama Sikander tried to commit suicide

Famous TV actress Shama Sikander often remains in the headlines. Recently, Shama Sikander recalled some of the most painful moments of her life, including a suicide attempt. The actress talked about what a bad phase she went through a few years ago and how her family 'saved' her after she 'took a lot of sleeping pills'.

Shama Sikander spoke about the bad phase of her life

Actually, Shama Sikander while talking about the bad phase of her life during an interview said, "15 years ago I was in a very bad condition, I had severe depression, bipolar disorder. Then I came to know that my grandmother can also have bipolar disorder because it is genetic. She used to do such things that people used to say that she is possessed by a ghost. I have also done similar things, but because I am sensible and live in today's time, I understood that I am not possessed by a ghost. Then I left my career and left the industry".

Shama Sikander tried to commit suicide out of exhaustion

During the interview, Shama Sikander was asked if she ever had suicidal thoughts. Answering this question, the actress said, "Of course. I tried to commit suicide, and I was saved by my family. I told God, 'There is too much effort to please people. I was tired and couldn't do it anymore. I wanted to come back as someone else. Let's make a deal. I am committing suicide now, please give me a second birth".

When Shama ate sleeping pills

Continuing her story, Shama Sikander said, "Then I took a lot of sleeping pills and I fell asleep. I think while I was sleeping, I sent my bank account details to my brother. He was at a wedding and was surprised, "Why is my sister sending me this right now?" My mother was reading the Quran and I told her not to disturb me. My brother then called my mother. Then she found out and tried to wake me up, but I was not getting up. Then everyone came running. I remember they were all trying to wake me up and I was like dead meat. Even six people together could not wake me up. So they took me to the nearest hospital, but the hospital refused to admit me and said it looked like a case of suicide."
