Pooja Hegde also plays a journalist in the film Deva. Directed by Roshan Andrews and produced by Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film is scheduled to release in theaters on January 31. Shahid was last seen with Kriti Sanon in the science-fiction romantic comedy Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

At the trailer launch event in Mumbai, Shahid Kapoor also talked about Saif Ali Khan, who was attacked earlier this week. The actor said, "We hope Saif's health is better.
