Varun Dhawan will start shooting for a romantic comedy film on this day

Varun Dhawan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Baby John and Sunny Sanskari's Tulsi Kumari. The actor will soon be seen in a romantic comedy directed by his father David Dhawan. Meanwhile, the latest update is coming out about Varun Dhawan's romantic comedy film, hearing which the fans will be very happy.

Varun Dhawan will start shooting for the film soon 

In fact, according to information received from sources, the shooting of the film is going to start on July 12 at Mehboob Studio in Bandra. Sources said that elaborate sets have been built for the initial indoor shooting, which is likely to focus on Varun Dhawan's character. This initial phase will take place during the monsoon season, after which the production will shift to other locations.

Earlier, reports about the film said, “Like all David Dhawan comedies, this one too is a love triangle, where the humour is a result of confusion in the lead man’s life. The team has roped in Srileela to play Varun’s love interest in the film. It is a sure-fire commercial entertainer and Srileela too feels that it will be a great launch pad for her in the Hindi market. Mrunal Thakur is also a part of the film. The actress has already had two meetings with the director for the project, “This is the first time Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur are working together for a film and everyone associated with the project is extremely excited about this new pairing”.

Talking about the work front, Varun Dhawan will also be seen in Citadel alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Directed by Raj and DK, Citadel is an Indian adaptation of the international series of the same name created by the director duo, Russo Brothers. Along with this, Varun Dhawan will be seen opposite Keerthy Suresh in John Baby. The action entertainer also features Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in an electrifying star cast. Baby is a John S. Thaman musical. Apart from Atlee, the film is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee and Jyoti Deshpande. The project is presented by Jio Studios in association with A for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios.
