The makers have been accused of stealing the script of the film
Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri's film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' has been mired in controversies even before its release. Not only this, the makers have also received a legal notice regarding the film. The allegation is of stealing the story. Well-known producer Sanjay Tiwari and writer Gul Bano Khan have sent a legal notice to the makers of this film. Gul Bano Khan said, "I had registered the central idea of 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' as a writer in SWA in 2015. A film was to be made on this, which Sanjay Tiwari was going to produce. But, due to some reasons, it got delayed. Therefore, we have sent a legal notice to all the makers of 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'".
The film will release on October 11
'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' is directed by Raj Shandilya. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar. The story of the film revolves around newlywed couple Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) and Vidya (Tripti Dimri), who make a video of their honeymoon night and the CD gets stolen. Apart from Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri, 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' also stars Mallika Sherawat, Vijay Raj, Rakesh Bedi, Archana Puran Singh, Tiku Talsania and Mukesh Tiwari. Vicky and Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is set to release in theaters on October 11, where it will clash with Alia Bhatt's film Jigra. Jigra stars Alia Bhatt and Vedang as siblings. Alia plays a young woman, Satya Anand, who struggles to save her brother Ankur Anand, who is being tortured while imprisoned in a foreign prison. Satya vows to get Ankur out of jail after he is sentenced to death.:
