What amazing advice did ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ debutante Pashmina Roshan receive from mentor-cousin Hrithik Roshan? by Chaitanya Padukone

The ‘foursome’ super-talented cast of this upcoming modern-love-relationships movie ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ comprising newcomer Pashmina Roshan, Rohit Saraf, Naila Grrewal, and Jibraan Khaan were full of confidence and displayed energy-vibes as they excitedly spoke about their musical romantic-comedy movie.

Instead of having mental pressure, actor Rohit Saraf  (of ‘Ludo’ and ‘Vikram Vedha’, etc fame) said instead he was full of gratitude for this ‘big break’ in movies. Interestingly Rohit clarified that Ishq Vishk Rebound (2024) was neither a remake nor a sequel but it was only sharing the franchise title of the original musical hit movie Ishq Vishq (2003) which featured Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao which was also produced by ‘star-maker’ Ramesh Taurani (Tips Films).

The husky-voiced vivacious Naila Grrewal (of ‘Thappad’, ‘Tamasha’ and ‘Maamla Legal Hai’) said that the subject of Ishq Vishk Rebound has this new-age lingo of ‘Rebound’ and today’s young generation would relate to it and connect with it.

Handsome macho hero actor Jibraan Khan shared that he had so much in common with Shahid Kapoor and that he had given his best to Ishq Vishk Rebound--- both as an actor and dancer. “Like my inspiration Shahid-Sir, I was also a dance instructor in Shiamak Davar’s dance academy “, disclosed Jibraan. It is very interesting to note that, as a child actor, Jibraan ( son of famous veteran star-actor Arjun) also played the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s young little son in Karan Johar’s ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ (2001).

The gorgeous Pashmina Khan (daughter of legendary composer Rajesh Roshan and cousin of mega-star Hrithik Roshan who attended the media event with her mother Mrs Kanchan Roshan) was also full of positive confidence. When I asked her the media question of facing the pride and pressure of having ‘Roshan’ as her ‘surname’ Pashmina replied, “The pride is the legacy my family holds, the great work they have all done. I am so proud of all of them. The pride, the luck, their support that I have come up with is the pressure I need to live up to. The pressure is to live up to their advice, to live up to their great work, and to make a place for myself in the film industry and also in the hearts of the audience,” she replied. Later Pashmina also shared that, ”My cousin Hrithik Roshan is also like my mentor who has always advised me repeatedly, that no matter what I do. I should do it with authenticity and give my 100 percent to it,” shared Pashmina, whose top-favorite filmy songs of her composer father Rajesh Roshan  include ‘Jab Chaaye Mera Jaadoo’,  ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’ and My Heart is Beating’

The official season of love romance has begun! The recent teaser release of Ishq Vishk Rebound has sent waves of excitement through the audience especially as it gave a glimpse of the iconic Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar song. The makers just launched the trending viral title track song almost a month away from the film’s release on 21st June in theatres. 

Ishq Vishq Pyaar Vyaar title-song is composed by genius Rochak Kohli, penned by Gurpreet Saini, and sung by none other than Sonu Nigam with Nikhita Gandhi featuring Mellow D. As a nod to the original song, choreographer Vijay Ganguly has retained the hook-step previously conceptualized by Ahmed Khan. 

Since Sonu Nigam is currently touring, he sent a special sentimental message to the IV-R team sending them all his love and wishing them luck. In his absence, Rochak Kohli surprised the news media and sung the song live with Nikhita Gandhi and Mellow D for the media and fans present. 

Similarly, star-hero Shahid Kapoor shared a sentimental message wishing the new Ishq Vishk Rebound gang –“all-the-best’ on his Instagram and said that even after 21 years the new track still sounds so fresh,”  

Tips Films presents, (Gen-Z subject)  ‘ISHQ VISHK REBOUND’, produced by Ramesh Taurani & Jaya Taurani, directed by (National Film Award Winner) Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, releases in cinema theatres on 21st June 2024. As an actor, Nipun is also famous for his roles in landmark Marathi movies like “Harishchandrachi Factory and Highway and also as an actor in Hindi movies like ‘Karwaan’ and for National award winning Marathi movie 'Dhappa' as a writer-director.
