Vivek Oberoi recalls the difficult times
In fact, Vivek Oberoi told in his recent interview, "I will tell you what the human experience is like when you are going through a bad phase. You see its intensity and how long it lasts. If the intensity is low or when it is a bad phase for a short time, you recover quickly and move on. If it is an intense experience or if this experience lasts for a very long time, it takes time to heal. It seems that whenever the wound starts healing, the pain reappears, making it challenging to move on".
I had to face trolling, public humiliation - Vivek Oberoi
Vivek Oberoi, on the other hand, said that his problems started when "powerful people" in the industry worked against him, which led to him facing public humiliation, online harassment and threats from the underworld. He said, "In my case, the intensity was very high. I faced trolling, public humiliation and professional sabotage. Projects were taken away from me after I signed them and I received threats from the underworld. The police had to provide me with an armed guard and a gun".
Depression had a bad effect
Along with this, Vivek Oberoi revealed that depression had a very bad effect on his loved ones, due to which he was constantly worried about their safety. He said, "Things reached such an extreme. In such situations, one's mental peace can be zero. I was still fine because I had an armed guard, but what about my mother, sister and father? I was constantly worried about their safety". Vivek Oberoi's career sank when he had a public fight with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. During a press conference in 2003, Vivek also accused Salman of threatening him due to his relationship with Aishwarya Rai.
Vivek Oberoi was seen in Indian Police Force
After making his acting debut with Ram Gopal Varma's Company, Vivek Oberoi made a name for himself with films like Saathiya, Yuva, Shootout at Lokhandwala and Krrish 3.
