The basic idea has been decided by Anand L Rai and the intention is to take the film on the floor in the second half of 2025".

Let us tell you that filmmaker Anand L Rai shared that the shooting of the film is expected to start by mid-2025. Anand L Rai said during the conversation that "I know questions are being raised on this. Where did Tanu Weds Manu Returns end? Should its sequel be made from there? It depends only on the story, not on anything else. We are working on the story. Bringing the characters back with a big story is a big responsibility. I am working on it and the day this film is ready, I will come on the floor that day".

Tanu Weds Manu starring Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan is one of the most loved romantic comedy franchises of Hindi cinema. The first part of the franchise started in 2011 and became an instant hit. The second installment of Tanu Weds Manu in 2015 did not disappoint the audience and rocked the box office. The film became the first Indian film to have a female lead.

Kangana Ranaut will soon be seen in the film Emergency. Apart from Kangana, Emergency also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhary and Shreyas Talpade. While Shreyas Talpade will be seen playing the role of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Anupam Kher will be seen in the role of Jayaprakash Narayan. Late actor Satish Kaushik will also be seen in the role of former Deputy Prime Minister of India Jagjivan Ram. Emergency has been postponed several times and was now scheduled to release in theaters on September 6, 2024.
