My first visit to the Taj Mahal will be embedded in my memory forever, says Ajay Singh Chaudhary

Ajay Singh Chaudhary, who is currently shooting in Lucknow for Inspector Avinash, took some time out from his busy schedule to visit one of the wonders of the world: The Taj Mahal - Jyothi Venkatesh

Speaking about his memorable visit to the architectural wonder, Ajay says,” This was my first visit to the Taj Mahal and it will be embedded in my memory forever.

I have visited places near the Taj Mahal but couldn't actually visit it. This time, we were shooting nearby and I was determined to visit.”

Ajay was completely mesmarized by the way the monument was designed. He adds,” I love the colour of ivory-white in the monument.

It is truly fascinating how the monument was built so that the view is the same no matter what angle you observe it from.

The planning and it’s execution get full marks. We were lucky since the day we visited the monument, the underground area containing the tombs of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz was open.

It is only kept open twice a year so we were extremely fortunate to have visited on one of those days.

The whole place gives you a vibe of peace. This monument has been known as the ultimate symbol of love since Shah Jahan made this in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. I would love to go back to the place and with my wife Jyoti.

While visiting the monument, I realised that we should take care of all our heritage monuments because the effort invested is huge. It should be protected and preserved so that people can see it for a long time. "
