“My next movie ‘Rocky aur Rani…’ (Ranveer S-Alia B) celebrates love with grandeur, like never before,”  assures ‘showman’ Karan Johar by Chaitanya  Padukone     

 Chaitanya  Padukone | On his 51st birthday, music-savvy  acclaimed filmmaker Karan Johar ( actual birth name Rahul Kumar Johar) dropped first-look posters of his upcoming latest romantic comedy, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The 'Dharma Productions' and Viacom 18 Studios co-production  film Rocky aur Rani  was originally slated for a mid-February release, but has now been finally pushed to July 28. This morning,  millions of fans got new looks of both Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh as their characters in the film, Rani and Rocky, as well as their ‘parivaar’.

In a sentimental message, ‘showman’ star-maker  Karan Johar  who started his direction career with musical mega-hit 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' (1998) said , “Love comes with its conflicts and challenges. But it is the most beautiful feeling in this world. Looking back 25 years  as a passionate film-maker I am filled with immense gratitude.  What began as a small attempt of stories that shared love, friendship and family sentiments. These stories resonated within me. 

 As each one of you embraced these stories and the screen-characters.  love has found a new meaning for me, everyday ! As I complete 25 years in the film-industry this love of yours has given wings to a new love-story . A new prem-kahaani, (Rocky aur Rani)  a story that celebrates love like never before-- in all its beauty and grandeur.

 Sharing new posters of Rocky, multi-faceted, innovative Karan wrote on Instagram, “An absolute ‘heartthrob’, who wears his own heart on his sleeve – meet Rocky! The posters show a bare-chested and bronzed Ranveer delivering his most over-the-top pose, as his hair flies in the breeze. He’s also wearing a large chain, and a gold, animal-printed shirt. The second poster shows Ranveer pulling his large sunglasses down, as he poses in a studded leather jacket.
