Maldives Controversy Boycott or Embrace Lakshadweep Alternatives

The need for beautiful locations has increased in the Indian cinema industry to such an extent that all the makers, in the race to go and shoot on foreign soil, have forgotten that the most picturesque places of the land of Sasya Shyamala Maa Vasundhara lie in the land of India only. There is a need to free ourselves from the influence of foreign attachment and look at our country through our lenses. There is a need to remember this because these days the people of the country and Bollywood stars have given the slogan of Boycott Maldives. Trending on social media is "#Boycott Maldives!"

Boycott Maldives is trending

"Welcome Lakshadweep! Welcome Kashmir! Welcome, Sindhu Durg..." is Streaming. What is the harm if filmmakers go to shoot at these Indian locations? What are these Indian locations of ours inferior to? FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) has also called for a boycott of foreign locations, especially Maldives, to which all the big stars have given their approval.

Know what is the story?

Come, let us tell you what the matter is. Recently, our country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a visit to Lakshadweep where he announced tourism development and other schemes. Modi ji had posted many of his photographs from the location of Lakshadweep on social media, the message of which was that this island Lakshadweep, which is a part of India, is so beautiful and charming. He gave a message to the tourists to come here. The objective was to promote tourism, which is a major source of income for the island. The neighboring island Maldives got jealous of this message from the PM. These days Maldives is living with a lot of loans from China and has become its stooge. This independent country, which became completely independent from the British in 1968, is the favorite place of Indian stars and filmmakers. Where most of the Indian films are shot. Recently Bipasha Basu was in Maldives to celebrate her birthday. On New Year's night, stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, etc. were in the Maldives with their families.

Big celebrities came in support of the country

Many ministers of Maldives started making inane remarks on the PM's praise of Lakshadweep. The people of our country have become angry due to the contempt shown towards the Prime Minister who is respected all over the world. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Sachin Tendulkar, Sehwag, etc. have come out on social media in anger against Maldives. Everyone has spoken highly against the Maldives. Film organizations are protesting that filmmakers and stars should not go there to shoot. Despite this, shooting should be done at the beautiful locations of India. Foreign filmmakers and tourists come to our locations, so why should we run abroad?

We should think about accepting our beautiful locations

In fact, before the Maldives, our filmmakers have boycotted Ukraine, China, and Pakistan, so why don't they look at the locations of their own countries? Instead of Maldives, Lakshadweep is a good synonym adjacent to it which a part of our country is. Locations of Kashmir have been opened, there is Sindhu Fort, Bheda Ghat, and there is a treasure of beautiful, picturesque views of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Shoot here and the country's money also stays in the country. This message from the Prime Minister is worth thinking about.
