Renowned actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia discusses her process of bravely fighting depression and taking control of her life. Ahluwalia narrated the problems she faced and the positive changes she made in her life for the better, during and after her college days, on the Bigg Boss 16 reality show and shared her experiences of depression. 
Ever since she was evicted from 'Bigg Boss 16' in which she finished sixth, Nimrit Ahluwalia had to face deep depression due to not getting work in the industry. This forced her to remember the time when she was in college and was made fun of, by fellow students because of her physical size and overweight, which caused her to experience a lot of mental stress, which was very taxing on her body and mind and had bad effect. 
Looking back, Nimrit opened up about her ordeal and said, “In my life, during my college time and after 'Bigg Boss 16', battling depression has been a huge struggle. Rejection and unemployment made me feel the hard sting of depression and those events forced me to recall the trauma of student bullying I endured during my college days. ,

Yet, despite these challenges, Nimrit Ahluwalia pulled herself together to take control of her life and made a plan to rebuild her life. In this case, emotional changes were possible for her. She continued modeling and television production while using her stories to empower women on the aspect of unemployment and determination.

“Taking charge of my life and freeing myself from these feelings was the most important decision I made, it was an emotional transformation for me, I vowed to live a better life and pursue my dreams of modeling and TV."
That's why Nimrit Ahluwalia's success story is about a woman's flexibility and self-confidence despite all adversities. She is sharing her story to ensure that anyone suffering from these illnesses does not sit idly by and suffer from depression and wait for the inevitable but instead fights for a better life.
