Sarpanch Saab OTT Drama: Actor-turned-producer Sonu Sood, along with producer Sonali Sood, is taking the OTT space by storm with Sarpanch Saab, a hard-hitting political drama premiering on Waves OTT on April 30.

Set in rural India, the seven-part series marks a significant shift towards grounded and socially relevant storytelling, based on themes of legacy, rebellion, and reform. The show is directed by Shahid Khan, who also co-produced it, and features an ensemble cast including Vineet Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, Pankaj Jha, Anuj Singh Dhaka, Yukti Kapoor, Neeraj Sood, and Vijay Pandey, who deliver grounded, powerful performances that bring the scenario vividly alive.

Sarpanch Saab: Sanju's Journey Through Corrupt Politics

Set in the fictional village of Rampura, Sarpanch Saab is the story of a young college fresher Sanju who finds himself embroiled in the murky world of local politics under the rule of the powerful and corrupt village head Mahendra Singh. Initially drawn in by the allure of influence and status, Sanju's world begins to unravel when tragedy, betrayal and disillusionment force him to question everything he once admired.
