Unveiling 'The Freelancer: The Conclusion' Trailer – A Tale of Bravery

When Anupam Kher remembered 'Mayapuri' magazine: In September, the web series “The Freelancer” directed by Neeraj Pandey was streamed on Disney plus Hotstar, which was liked a lot by the audience. Now its second season: 'The Freelancer: The Conclusion' is going to be streamed from December 15. ‘The Freelancer: The Conclusion’ also stars veteran actor Anupam Kher along with Kashmira Pardeshi. The series also stars Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Gauri Balaji, and talented actors like Navneet Malik, Manjari Phadnis, and Sarah Jane Dias. Its trailer was launched in a grand ceremony held in Mumbai on Wednesday, December 6.

It is clear from the trailer of the web series 'The Freelancer: The Conclusion' that Mohit Raina will be seen fighting ISIS in Syria. Mohit Raina will be seen rescuing Alia, a girl captured by ISIS. The trailer of the rescue mission story ‘The Freelancer: The Conclusion’, full of emotions and suspense, is being liked a lot. The trailer launch event of ‘The Freelancer: The Conclusion’ was attended by its producers and directors including Anupam Kher, Mohit Raina Kashmira Pardesi, and Gaurav Banerjee, Content Head, Disney Plus Hotstar.

This series is based on Shirish Thorat's book 'A Ticket to Syria'. It will be shown how a man traps a girl in the trap of marriage and takes her to Syria. Then how does the campaign to rescue her begin?

Recalling the successful film “A Wednesday” directed by Neeraj Pandey, Gaurav Banerjee said – “It is just a coincidence that today is Wednesday and I am present in front of you people along with Anupam Sir and Neeraj Pandey. ‘The Freelancer’ is the original story of Disney plus Hotstar. It has been our ambition to work with Neeraj Pandey. We called Neeraj Pandey and asked if he had any interesting and entertaining stories. We have learned a lot from each other during the last five years. Found the right path while fighting among themselves. We had done 'Special Ops' together earlier. And today we are going to talk about ‘The Freelancer’. This is a huge achievement at the level of creativity. This is a story of bravery, told by the Bahadur team. It depicts a world that has not been seen anywhere in cinema or TV till now. The entire team has faced many challenges while creating it. Neeraj Pandey is a very reliable person when it comes to storytelling. It not only scares, and thrills but also entertains.”

Neeraj Pandey Excited About 'The Freelancer: The Conclusion

Speaking on the occasion, Neeraj Pandey said - 'We are extremely happy with the overwhelming and positive response of the audience to the initial episode of The Freelancer, which was released by Hotstar on 1st September and we hope to replicate the same with the conclusion of the final episode. The completion of the mission is in progress. This has been, and is, a complex story to tell in an unknown universe, and congratulations to director Bhav Dhulia, producer Shital Bhatia, the entire team of 'The Freelancer', and my team of Friday Story Tellers on this journey and achieving another milestone. Last but not least, it is always good to partner with Disney plus Hotstar to create another successful franchise.”

Speaking on the occasion, Bhav Dhulia, director of the web series, said, “The web series ‘Freelancer: The Conclusion’ will shed light on the journey of Avinash Kamath as he prepares to face all the hurdles in the final leg of his mission. From building a team to executing extraction missions, this season will deliver thrill, action, and high-octane drama like never before. Mohit Raina effortlessly slips into this version of Avinash Kamath as he tries to save Alia from the clutches of death. Additionally, Freelancer is very special to me and I am thrilled to see how much the first four episodes have been loved and appreciated by the audience and I hope they enjoy the finale as much.”

Mohit Raina on 'The Freelancer: The Conclusion': A Journey of Challenges and Excitement

Talking about the web series and his character, Mohit Raina said- “My journey with this series started about three to four years ago. There were many ups and downs. After the release of the four episodes my inbox was filled with messages from fans and viewers and I am glad that they enjoyed seeing me in a different avatar in this thriller series. 'The Conclusion' will see Avinash explore more aspects of his character and his true self as he sets out to save Aaliya. Playing the character of Avinash was a creatively satisfying and enjoyable experience. But at the same time, it was equally challenging. Shooting in Morocco was also not easy. We worked in a different country, a culture different than ours, and with different types of people. We also worked with an international crew. With 'The Conclusion', we bring some interesting twists and fast-paced action that will keep the audience engaged."

When a journalist told Anupam Kher that for him acting is a left-handed game, Anupam Kher said that acting is not a left-handed game at all. Even today he struggles for good work. Anupam Kher said- “Acting is not a left-handed game at all. The heart, mind, and entire body are always engaged in this. Seeing my work, people think this is a game of my left hand, this is because of many years of hard work."

Anupam Kher on 'The Freelancer': A Glimpse, An Audition for More

Anupam Kher further said, “The work I have done in Sheetal Bhatia and Neeraj Pandey's web series ‘The Freelancer’ is just an audition. Now he will allow me to play a bigger role in his next series. My character in 'The Freelancer the Conclusion' is even more effective than in the first season. Being an actor, there is a greed in my mind that I should be seen in every frame. But my mother says that one should never work to full capacity so that the hunger to work in the next film or series remains intact.

Actor Anupam Kher is at such a stage today that he does not need to go to anyone's office and ask for work. But, Anupam Kher said- “I go to meet my favorite directors once a week. Even if I meet them on the pretext of having lunch, my motive behind this is to ask for work. I feel very bad hearing the word legend. When I hear this word, I feel as if I am going to work holding crutches or sitting in a wheelchair. But I am going to act till the age of ninety. ,

While talking to journalists on the same occasion, Anupam Kher not only remembered Mayapuri Magazine but also thanked it and said - "I remember very well when I came to Mumbai and I was nothing, then Prithvi Theater but Mayapuri journalist Late Z A Johar had met me and he did my first interview. I can never forget Mayapuri." Actress Kashmira Pardesi, playing the character of Alia, said, "I am grateful to Neeraj Pandey and Disney Play Hotstar for allowing me to play a character like Alia, in which I got to play many different roles. Got an opportunity to play emotions. Its journey has been written very beautifully. This is a challenging character. There are many layers in Alia's character, I also got the opportunity to do action.
