Mirzapur season 3 out on OTT! Absence of Munna Bhaiya takes the show's zeal away, here's what netizens have to say - BusinessToday

The Purvanchal Area of Uttar Pradesh is recalled for the musclemen of the state. They deal in Opium coal mining and many other businesses with some violent activity in their day-to-day life. Based on some of the heard stories of these Bahubalis, a series full of s*x, violence, and bloodshed, Mirzapur, was streamed on the OTT platform Amazon Prime, and the series became very popular due to its main character Kaleen Bhaiya. After that, its season 3 came and now its season 3 has come, which is being streamed on Amazon Prime from July 5. This time too, violence, bloodshed, dirty abuses, relations between Bahubalis and politicians, everything is at its peak.

This time the story of the series starts from where season two ended. At the end of season two, we saw that Munna was killed, but someone saved Kaleen Bhaiya. In the first episode of the third season, there is a recap of about six minutes till now. This shows that after saving Kaleen Bhaiya, Sharat Shukla took him with him and hid him at Dadda's (Lilliput) base and started his treatment there. However, no one knows where Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) is. Madhuri (Isha Talwar) comes forward to light the pyre of her husband Munna. Beena Tripathi (Rasika Duggal), Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) and Golu (Shweta Tripathi Sharma) have accepted that Kaleen Bhaiya has also died. By killing Munna Tripathi and removing Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit has declared himself as the strongman of Mirzapur. Guddu Pandit also breaks the statue installed at Tripathi crossroads. Beena Tripathi is not in a position to say anything. Now Guddu has his eyes set on sitting on the throne of Purvanchal, but the biggest hurdle in his way is Sharad Shukla of Jaunpur and some strongmen of the west. Meanwhile, Guddu Pandit's father and lawyer Ramakant Pandit has reached the jail for the crime of killing SSP Maurya and keeps writing applications for the release of prisoners there. Opium trader Rauf Lala is also imprisoned there.

On the other hand, Guddu Pandit's partner and lady don Golu (Shweta Tripathi) has become more aggressive than before. On the other hand, Jaunpur's strongman Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma) wants to kill Guddu and usurp the throne of Mirzapur as well. For this, he is making Kaleen Bhaiya a member of his family and bringing him to his side, and on the other hand, he makes the state's Chief Minister Madhuri Yadav (Isha Talwar) his partner. Madhuri Yadav wants to eliminate the strongmen from the state and make it a 'fear-free' state. To succeed in this step, Madhuri Yadav uses the strongmen as her weapon. Madhuri Yadav has put Ranjana in search of her uncle JP Yadav. JP Yadav, who is hiding in Varanasi, is trying to remove Madhuri Yadav from the post of Chief Minister in his own way. Along with the fight for the throne of Purvanchal, Dadda's son Bharat alias Shatrughan has to take revenge from Golu for his brother's death. He imprisons Golu at his hideout. Violence, bloodshed, and political tricks keep happening. Chief Minister Madhuri Yadav and Sharad Shukla together make a move, due to which Guddu Pandit comes to know that Golu has been murdered. Then Guddu Pandit surrenders and reaches jail. Meanwhile, Sharad Shukla is convinced that Kaleen Bhaiya will get him the throne of Mirzapur and Purvanchal.
But when Kaleen Bhaiya comes in front of everyone, a new game starts.

The third season of Mirzapur has turned out to be a season full of extreme violence, bloodshed, dirty abuses, intimate scenes, and s*x. The script of this season has a lot of hiccups. Many scenes seem to be forcibly drawn. The writers have failed in the characterization of Vijay Verma. Mirzapur, along with telling the story of violence in the Hindi belt, also unravels the layers of Indian politics and law and order.

It presents such a scene of power games, s*x, drugs, death, controversial relationships, and betrayal, which we have often heard or seen. There was a need to work hard on the character of Chief Minister Madhuri Yadav. Justice was also not done to the character of JP Yadav. Even if all the scenes of JP Yadav are removed from the series, it will not make any difference. This shows the weakness of the writers. As a director, Gurmeet Singh has failed badly at many places. Not only this, the way the writer and director have added new characters and have used abusive language in the poetry and the way the level of violence and bloodshed has been increased, will reduce its viewership.
Now we cannot watch it with family and friends!

Mirzapur Season 3 is carried by Guddu Pandit, Golu, and Sharad Shukla. Ali Fazal has left no stone unturned in bringing Guddu Pandit's character to life. His versatility transfers his tension, struggle, and revenge to the audience. He shines in emotional scenes as well as violent scenes. Shweta Tripathi Sharma has once again proved her talent in the role of Golu.

Anjum Sharma has made a good impact with her well-balanced performance in the role of Sharad Shukla.
Vijay Verma has proved that he is a versatile actor by carving out the layers of ambitions and emotional vulnerabilities with his acting as Chhote aka Bharat aka Shatrughan. Harshita Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Anil George, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Sheeba Chaddha are fine.
Isha Talwar's grip is clearly visible in the role of Madhuri, a cunning politician.
