Gauraiya Live Review: A sensational incident that forces one to think

Now it has become very common to hear that a girl has fallen into an open borewell… Now we don't even shudder at such incidents! But, watching the film 'Gauraiya Live' based on one such incident, you will be shocked and realize why this happens. Young director Gabriel Vats's film 'Gauraiya Live' is one such film.

Gauraiya Live: A Gripping Tale of Tragedy

Rampal, a laborer working at a construction site in Bhopal, is a man who lives his life through hard work and sweat. He is worried about the future of his younger daughter Gauraiya. The marriage of the second daughter Sapna has been broken. One evening his 10-year-old daughter Gauraiya falls into an open borewell. The viewers spend every moment in difficulty while watching what will be the condition of that girl trapped in a borewell for 36 hours in a dark, pitch-black, non-breathable place. Then what will be the condition of her father and sister?
Omkar Das Manikpuri has played the role of laborer Rampal in 'Gauraiya Live'. After a long gap, Omkar Das has appeared in a strong role on screen. His previous film was 'Pippli Live'. Ada Sharma has impressed in the role of Gauraiya. This film is going to be seen from the eyes of a father, sister, and mother and what happens to them then. What was going through the sparrow hanging in the borewell for 36 hours, apart from this what was the condition of the mother? Sister Sapna, whose marriage with Amit has broken, and what could be the condition of her mother? All the actors in the film, Omkar Das, Ada Singh, Seema Saini, Narendra Khatri, Shagufta Ali, Vinay Jha, etc. have played their roles well. The thing to be seen from another angle in this film is how active the administration is and what the role of the media is. Why do such incidents keep happening even after repeated incidents? This film forces us to think about these questions.

Singer Shaan has given voice-over in 'Gauraiya Live' and has also sang a song. The music is situational and is composed by Sujoy Bose and Seema Saini. The emotional song has been written by Seema Saini.
