Story: 

The story of Randeep Hooda's film 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar' begins with the plague epidemic spreading across the world. Veer Savarkar's father also gets plague disease and the English police burn alive all the people infected with this disease. Since childhood, Savarkar had to face many problems in his life. As Savarkar grew older, his dream of liberating the country from British rule became stronger. To get independence for the country, he also went to London and studied law. Talking about acting, Randeep Hooda has worked hard in his character. Randeep has once again mesmerized the audience with his conviction. The character of Ankita Lokhande, who plays Veer Savarkar's wife, Yamuna Bai, does not get much screen space. Rajesh Kheda has also tried his best to give justice to the character of Mahatma Gandhi.

Randeep Hooda marks his directorial debut and the film depicts Veer Savarkar's contribution to the Indian freedom struggle, his writing abilities, his thought process, and his remarkable work for the people of pre-independence India. The cinematography of the film is good and its sets are also beautifully designed. Of course, it was not easy to bring a 100-year-old era on screen. The horrific scenes of Kala Paani give goosebumps to the audience. The background score of the film and the dress design of the characters are also strong. However, the music of the film is not that strong.
