 Indian cricket team met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on their arrival from Barbados on Thursday morning after winning the T20 World Cup. In a video shared by the Prime Minister's Office, the players can be seen having a light-hearted conversation with Modi. The team was also welcomed with great enthusiasm by their fans. A lot of warmth was seen among the fans to welcome the team.

Apart from this, the Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi for breakfast on Thursday. During the hour-long meeting, PM Modi congratulated the T20 World Cup-winning team. The T20 World Cup-winning Indian team arrived at No. 7, Lok Kalyan Marg at 11 am Indian time. The players and support staff members left with a rousing welcome after reaching the hotel from ITC Maurya. Captains Rohit Sharma, Rahul Dravid, and Virat Kohli were seen cutting a special cake prepared by the chef at the hotel.

Kohli also posted a photo of himself with the PM on Instagram and wrote, "What an honor it is to meet our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Thank you Sir for inviting us to the Prime Minister's residence." Earlier,
