Chronicling a love saga that changed the course of history, COLORS' magnum opus ‘Pracchand Ashok’ is keeping the audience at the edge of their seat. The historical romance outlines the journeys of two historical legends Samrat Ashok and Princess Kaurwaki, who fall in love despite the colossal odds stacked against them. While the mighty Samrat vies for power, the princess yearns for a loving spouse. Transporting the viewers to stunning visuals of the ancient era, the show is spearheaded by actor Adnan Khan essaying the titular role and garnering accolades for it. Enlivening the larger-than-life odyssey of Samrat Ashok is not without its challenges. For a high-octane action sequence, the versatile actor braved his chronic fear of heights. The scene involved a daring fight sequence on top of a towering 30-foot bell tower. With the encouragement of the action choreographer and the team, Adnan battled his fear in the same way his character fights enemies.

Feeling surreal after overcoming his acrophobia, Adnan Khan shares, "At first, I could barely stand on the towering bell, it was nerve-wracking, as I have height phobia, but with all necessary precautions and my crew’s assistance I could tackle this fear head-on. For an actor every day is a new learning and especially when one is embodying such a powerful character like Samrat Ashok. I hope that the fans keep showering their love upon us as they have always been the greatest source of encouragement.”
