Renowned actor Mona Wasu steps into the role of Shalini Talwar, an elegant, intelligent, and manipulative matriarch of the Talwar family. Her character holds a deep-seated resentment towards the Mahajans, driven by her belief that they destroyed her family. Shalini's hatred for the Mahajans is so deeply rooted in her heart that she has vowed to take revenge on them. The upcoming storyline of Vanshaj promises more twists and turns for the audience as the Talwar family decides to take the Mahajans, their formidable competitors head on.
Mona Wasu, who will be essaying the character of Shalini Talwar, said, “I am thrilled to portray this character in Vanshaj. She's a blend of vulnerability and strength, with a knack for manipulation. Shalini’s addition will add intensity to the rivalry between the two families. She is enigmatic, confident, and successful but she is hiding a huge secret in her heart which keeps troubling her. This secret haunts her, and she fears that if it ever comes to light, it will destroy her carefully constructed life and the love and respect her son has for her. I am looking forward to bringing her intelligence, charm, and resilience to life.”
