Mouli and Rahul Dive Into 'Mehndi Wala Ghar' Characters

Sony Television's new show 'Mehndi Wala Ghar' is going to start on 23rd January at 9:30 pm. Let us tell you that the show is the story of a family which was once torn apart and now there is someone ready to bring it together. Mouli and Rahul i.e. Shruti Anand and Shehzad Sheikh are part of this story.

Let us tell you what he said about the show and his character.

As it is known that this is a family-oriented show, what would you like to say about it?

Shruti- Nowadays, this kind of show where it is about family is rarely seen. What I like best about the show is that there is nothing wrong or negative in it. People will be able to relate to the story as shown in the show, as happens in all of our homes. A family who wants to live together but has not been able to do so due to some sourness in their mind and remains busy with their work and how a girl comes into their lives and brings the entire family together. I also believe that it is very important to have a joint family, family is your power and strength. Now that I am here, I miss my family a lot. My character's name in this show is Mouli and I can relate to her a lot.

You played the character of Naksh Singhania in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', now you are seen in a different style in this serial. Tell us something about your new character.

Shehzad- I am very happy that I have got a chance to play a fun, young, and full-of-life character. I am also very happy with the story of the show. I think everyone will be able to relate to it and everyone will also like this show.

Will the audience also get to see the love story of both of you in the show?

Shruti- I don't know because I am married. (Jokingly)

Shehzad- Now we will know only if the story progresses slowly. Maybe there is a love story or maybe not or maybe there are only fights between us.

Shruti- I might not even like him because he is an NRI. Mouli is a girl who will do anything for India, and her character is the complete opposite of that. Now only in the show will we know where our story goes.

Shehzad- Whether opposites attract or not will be known only in the show.

Tell us about how both of your characters are important to the family.

Shruti- If I talk about my character, her name is Mouli, we tie our hands and he protects us. This character is also the same she tries her best to unite a broken family so that the family becomes one and they live under one roof like they used to live years ago. I like the character of Rahul which is played by Shehzad because he is a very open and light-hearted person and does not take anything to heart.

Shehzad- I like my character very much. He believes in living life as king-size.

According to both of you, what is the special thing about this show?

Shruti- The special thing about this show is that the story is very emotional. You will also have tears in your eyes when you watch the show, it has been written and performed so beautifully. The story of the show is very good and is exactly like the stories of today, so I think people will be able to relate to this story.

Shehzad- The story of our show has something from every genre, and that is what makes it special. Every member of the family is of different age so everyone will be able to relate to it.

What would you like to say to the fans and audience?

Shruti- I would like to tell the audience that as much love as you have given to both of us earlier, please give the same amount of love to this show. Our ‘Mehndi Wala Ghar’ is coming on Sony Entertainment Television.

Shehzad- Watch from 23rd January at 9:30 pm and give us lots of love.
