Vaishnav Janato based in Raga Khammaj and Ram Dhun based in Raga Ghara. To interpret these through an instrumental version was truly an honour and a privilege. As Gandhi had insisted "Each of us must be the change we wish to see in this world". Therefore, let us all work together to recreate, and be soulfully motivated, by his enthralling symphony of Truth, Love, Non Violence and Peace."Added Amaan Ali Bangash,

"To represent your country for such a momentous and historic occasion has been overwhelming. The Sarod Concerto of my father Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and the Refugee Orchestra Project have crossed boundaries and cultures to enrich the societies where they perform. They remind us  the UN Charter reminds us — that our diverse backgrounds are a cause for celebration rather than division. It was also an honour to meet Mr. Antonio Guterres, the UN secrartary General."   "It was such a great honour to perform at the UN general Assembly hall on UN day, after 52 years for India! It was an honour to play my father’s Sarod Concerto Samaagam with Refugee Project Orchestra Conducted by Lidiya Yankovskaya. The Refugee Project Orchestra, which brings together musicians who have fled to the US to escape violence and persecution as well as those who are friends and families of refugees, provided a genre erasing traditional boundaries," summed up Ayaan Ali Bangash.
