Dhruv Tara: Karan Veer Grover's Travel Dreams Include Europe

Karan Grover started his career in 2004 with the serial 'Sarthi' as Arjun Goenka. Grover is known for playing the role of Karan Prasad in 'Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli', Dr. Rohit Sippy in 'Kahan Hum Kahan Tum' and Angad Mann in 'Udaariyaan'. Apart from TV serials, Karan has also done a film named 'Wedding Pulao' in 2015. Apart from this, he has also worked in web series like 'Spotlight' and 'Vodka Shots'. Let us tell you that currently Karan is seen in the role of Raja Suryapratap Singh in the serial 'Dhruv-Tara'.

What's the one role you've enjoyed playing the most, and why?

Maharana Surya Pratap Singh. This character that I am doing right now. Many things in it are physically very challenging for me. This turban is very beautiful to look at but it also feels very hot. Her outfit is also very heavy. I feel very happy speaking Maharaj's lines in pure Hindi.

Which is the most challenging character you have played to date?

This character is challenging for me. Another difficult role I played was for the show ‘Udaariyaan’. In which I played the character of Angad Maan. For that, for the first time, I did stunts and romance in freezing temperatures and that was very new for me. It was a lot of fun doing that character too.

One thing you love about Mumbai?

I am a boy from Mumbai only. I was born and brought up here. I love everything about Mumbai but if I have to tell you one thing, I would say that I love the mad energy of this city.

What are the three things you don't leave home without?

Just my phone, I don't need the other two things. Because everything can be done by phone, if there is no car then a taxi comes and if there is no money then it is done on Google.

If you have a cheat day, what is your favorite cheat meal?

There is nothing like that with me, I eat normal food. But if I feel like overloading too many calories, I ask mom to make cauliflower parathas and if mom also makes kheer along with it, I eat that.

What is your favorite street food?

Sevpuri

What is your favorite travel destination?

I like to travel everywhere, there is no favorite destination. But if I get a chance, I would like to keep going to Europe.

Do you have any hidden talent that no one knows about?

Now let's let whatever is hidden remain hidden. If everyone comes to know then everyone will ask me to do that. Then it will become very common. I don't have any such hidden talent but sometimes I write a little.

If you could have any superpower, which superpower would you want?

It has been my dream since childhood that I want to become Superman. And if any web, film or TV is being made on this then please take me.

What is your favorite cuisine?

Indian

What is the food that you can prepare very well?

I make very good black coffee.

What would you choose between food and travel?

Travel. I am not a big foodie. I don't have much love for food. I eat a lot of cliche food. I mostly eat beans every day. But I am very fond of traveling.
